The Daughters of Nires
Since the Suesdyians first reached the stars beyond their own, they have been setting up a variety of colonized systems. These tend to be rather similar, with extensive mineral resources or some sort of scientific anomaly which has attracted settlement, although some stand out. Each clan has colonized these systems individually, although all formally belong to the united Confederation.
Imperial clan:
Sipirian
- New Nires
New Nires was the first founded of the Sipirian Imperial clan's colonies, orbiting around a red giant star, picked due to the unusual concentration of ancient mineral resources present in the asteroid belt from this very old star. It has been the target of a significant exodus of personnel to the system, particularly younger nobility and other mid-ranking positions, aiming to relieve internal pressure at home for promotion and status through exile to the stars. This has raised its population up to several score million, alongside the even larger groups of working class population which has been sent out to relieve home population pressure.
- Sihgneg
Sihgneg is a much more recently colonized system, intended to provide for maintaining interstellar expansion by the Siperian clan. The system is graced with multiple large gas giants which have excellent resources for the production of hydrogen fuel for nuclear fusion reactors, as well as good shipyard capabilities from its asteroid belt. This has meant that the goal has been to construct it as a way-station point and as a shipyard and repair sector. Due to the relatively recent foundation, so far the population has only exceeded several hundred thousand.
- Bouclay
The the furthest north of the Siperian systems, Bouclay has been recently reinforced following the revelation that the Suesdyians are not alone in the universe, with new fleet detachments and defenses. Previously it was a hard-scrabble frontier system focused on mining and initial settlement, but a major inflow of scientific personnel and military ships.
- Phonekar
With the paranoid imperial leadership concerned about a coup attempt back home, the decision was made not too long ago to establish a system which would serve as a secluded retreat for the Emperor's close clan members. Phonekar is a small shipyard system with mining, but more importantly houses a imperial base and small fleet detachments, carefully hidden and camouflaged. Officially, it does not exist, although in practice it wouldn't be terribly difficult to find due to the frequent coming and goings of imperial members to and from Phonekar. This base - really more of a palace - has been the focus of major development to provide for both its luxury, and its place as a training, instruction, and education center for the up and coming imperial elite.
1)Hujaka
-Sirap
Sirap was intended to be a shipyard system which would produce military ships for the Hujaka clan, to one day enable them to have a fleet capable of challenging the Imperial clan. Unfortunately for the Hujaka, this was rapidly found out, and so the military parts of Sirap had to be scratched. However, the system has proved to be a good shipyard center anyway, as well as being used by the Hujaka for technical research - principally upon propulsion technology, drones, and communication. It has a strange amount of autonomous resupply ships which are directed somewhere from it... The population currently numbers in the several million.
-X54 (secret)
This is unique among the various colonized star systems in that it is actually not a stay system - rather it is a rogue planet, somewhat close to Sirap, which has been established as the site for a secret military shipyard. Growing population numbers have led it to several tens of thousands, including researchers for the extensive weapons research which goes on here, shipyard workers, administrators, soldiers, and the civilian population associated with this.
2)Pirafilo
- Olifen
Founded several decades ago now, Olifen was the first system colonized under the policy of reducing social tensions at home through export of the population throughout the stars. Olifen was designed around the concept of producing new consumer goods and construction material for the expansion of the Confederation: in this, Olifen was based on the bet of a much more unified and non-autarkic economic system, as compared to most of the clans who have been pushing for on a strategic level self-reliance to secure their objectives. The result of the extensive focus on settlement and economic development has been a rapid growth, with the system already reaching several tens of millions of people through massive population transfers from Nires. It orbits around a yellow star.
3)Jirakirai
- Iatabes
Fundamentally, most of the systems colonized by the Suesdyians have been rather similar. Iatabes is quite run of the mill in this regard, being a relatively early stage system, intended to provide for shipyards, exploration routes, a valve for excess population and development. Orbiting around a yellow star, the population has grown at a moderate clip to several dozen million.
4)Verniat
- Maskvui
Maksvui was founded for the normal purposes of industry and population settlement, and has grown appreciably over the years, with several shipyards, research stations, and a population reaching into the millions.
-Rimidalve
Rimidalve is the largest colonial system of the Verniat clan, which has been attempting to leverage their knowledge of biological sciences and technology. With a large asteroid ring around a yellow star, it forms, for the Suesdyians, an appropriate habitable zone, while one of the planets is low gravity enough for Suesdyians to briefly visit it, habitable, with life on it, and has been the subject of creating a variety of research stations. This has made Rimidalve into a center of biological research and science.
5)Pokukukop
- Yotuge
Unlike other systems, Yotuge is not a red giant or a yellow star, but rather a white dwarf. The white dwarf, with its large nebulala, has many key and essential resources which are in short supply elsewhere, and this has promoted its colonization as a mining system. The population here is rather limited, at only a few hundred thousand, but it is economically highly productive and has access to otherwise rare resourcces.
- Elliesram
Unlike other clans, the Pokukukop have taken the radical decision to shift their administrative center out to the colony of Elliesram. While much of their diplomatic corps and their relationship with the rest of the Confederation still passes on Nires of course, Elliesram is where their formal government has been shifted - or well, is still in the process of being shifted. It was the first founded of the Pokukukop colonies, and its population growth due to immigration has led it to perhaps the largest of any colonial system's population - 50 million inhabitants, driven by a major program of settlement, which has given it a grand stature among the colonies. Like most systems, it is centered around a yellow son.
6)Lethiran
-Egathen
The oldest of any of the colonies of the Suesdyians, Egathen is a rather quiet place, which has developed slowly over the course of the years. Mining and resource extraction proceed reasonably well, and there has been an uptick in immigration recently with the program of major population export to the colonies, but as a whole Egathen has been passed by by events, perhaps due to the paucity of Lethiran resources to provide for expansion. Thus despite its age, only a few million people call Egathen home.
-Dadinirt
Dadinirt is a new colony which has been established with the objective of serving as a transfer point for colonial activity on the route towards the Galactic core, which has served as the main focus of Lethiran activities in space recently. Its shipyard and repair facilities have been tremendously upgraded, as have scientific facilities.
-Oplirtem
Of all of the systems colonized by the Suesdyians, Oplirtem is unique for being chosen for reasons other than mineral purposes, strategic location, or seclusion. Oplirtem was founded on a supernova, due to the incredible beauty of the glory of this massive construct in space, as a retreat system for the Suesdyian elite. Although the population is still relatively small, only a few million, it has attracted a formidable clientele and its name has become almost renowned for luxury.

- Dialli
Dialli is unique in that it is an actual world and was settled by renegades, and will be covered in a separate update.
